MPKj - Why the complaint feedback is ''playsafe''?

Introduction
We can see that most of the complaints will be reply with the '' playsafe'' words or ''standard script''. In fact, how about the action of the complaint? ... we can found this type of answer in a local newspaper. The Corporate Planning and Public Relations Unit MPKj will respond to the complaint by simply stating what action WILL BE TAKEN, but not respond to the complaintWHAT ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.

Here's the sample of complaint and answer:

Its properly before reverting the complaint, the Corporate Planning & Public Relations Unit must obtain information from the departments involved.

Taking the above example, the departments involved in this complaint is the Department ofEnforcement and Licensing Unit MPKj. Thus, the
Corporate Planning & Public Relations unitneed to get the detail information as follows:

- Type of action can be taken
- Act involved
- Type of offense (fine & Compound)
- Type of action taken
- Date and time of action
- How many ad units that was pull off

The Corporate Planning and Public Relations Unit MPKj also made mistakes in the statement ofcomplaint responses:

''Namun, sebaik mengetahui pihak majlis mengambil tindakan, pengiklan haram mencetak iklan baru dengan menggunakan nombor berlainan''


MPKj should not expose their weaknesses with keep blame
those who place the advertisements.This is because the complainant would think the MPKj did not have a strategic plan to tackleillegal advertisements. Of course, the complainant will also think the MPKj will only act after receiving complaints.

Therefore, the appropriate response is:


TERIMA kasih kepada pengadu dan melalui semakan kami mendapati iklan initidak mempunyai permit dan pengiklan boleh dikenakan tindakan di bawahUndang-Undang Kecil Iklan (MPKj) 2007. Jika didapati bersalah bolehdikenakan kompaun / denda sebanyak RM_______.

Sehubungan itu, Bahagian Penguatkuasa telah selesai menjalankan operasi menurunkan iklan haram tersebut pada ______dan sebanyak______ telah berjaya diturunkan.

Majlis Perbandaran Kajang
akan menyerahkan nombor telefon iklan haram ini kepada Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) untuk menamatkan perkhidmatan

operasi dan lawat periksa secara berjadual akan dilakukan untuk mengelak kejadian yang sama berulang
